Vehicle Communication Interface (VCI)
Vehicle Communication Interface (VCI) is a hardware interface that connects a vehicle, or an industrial or marine engine, to a computer running SDP3.
The VCI3 can be connected to a computer via a USB cable or through a wireless connection. Wireless communication can be configured in different ways depending on the application and network availability, including a direct ad-hoc (peer-to-peer) connection or operation through an existing wireless network (infrastructure mode).
Scania Diagnos & Programmer 3 (SDP3)
Scania Diagnos & Programmer 3 (SDP3) is a diagnostic and programming application designed for Scania vehicles, as well as industrial and marine engines. It supports electrical systems based on CAN communication and is used for fault diagnosis, parameter adjustments, calibrations, system conversions affecting electrical functions, and updating control unit software.
Bodywork Interface Configuration Tool (BICT)
Bodywork Interface Configuration Tool (BICT) is a software application used to manage the Bodywork Interface Configuration (BIC) function. It simplifies the integration of bodywork components with the vehicle’s electrical system using built-in functionalities. Logic programming is performed within BIC projects, which can include multiple logic diagrams for improved clarity and organization.
BIC projects can be saved and reused across multiple vehicles. BICT can operate both online (connected to a vehicle) and offline. In offline mode, users can create new projects, design logic diagrams, and simulate their behavior before deployment.
When connected to a vehicle, BICT allows users to upload new BIC programs, update existing ones, and perform troubleshooting with guidance provided through SDP3.
